How PRTY X SKapade Started
SKapade Studios was founded by international DJ and producer Stephen Kirkwood. After learning the hard way through trial and error, Stephen wanted to create a space where new DJs and producers could grow quickly with clear instruction and genuine support.
What started as a small studio in Dumbarton has grown into a welcoming community of students across Scotland and beyond, all building skills and confidence through structured teaching and real industry insight.

Steven is a dedicated DJ tutor known for clear teaching, practical guidance and genuine support. He has trained hundreds of students across Scotland, helping them build confidence, technique and real performance skills.
Steven Galoni
Stephen is a producer, mentor and SKapade founder with deep industry experience. He teaches structured production, studio skills and creative development, supporting beginners and emerging artists to create music they are truly proud of.
Stephen Kirkwood
SKapade regularly welcomes guest tutors including DJs, producers and industry specialists. Students benefit from varied teaching styles, fresh creative perspectives and expert sessions that expand their skills, and understanding of electronic music.

Workshops for Schools, Youth Groups and Charities
We deliver DJ and music production workshops for schools, youth groups and charities across central Scotland. These sessions build confidence, teamwork, communication and creative expression while giving young people a safe, positive space to try something new and feel genuinely supported.
Our workshops give participants a positive outlet, helping them build resilience, recognise their strengths and experience the pride that comes from learning something genuinely new.
