HARDER STYLES PRODUCTION COURSE (ABLETON LIVE) This 8-week course is designed to take students through the complete production process of a harder styles electronic track, from initial idea to a finished, club-ready release. Led by CRAAIG, the course focuses on Hard Techno and harder electronic styles, with a strong emphasis on sound design, energy, structure, and impact. By the end of the course, every student will have completed one fully produced, mixed, and mastered track, ready for performance or release. The course runs as a closed group, allowing consistent progression, direct feedback, and a focused studio environment. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN COMPLETE PRODUCTION CYCLE Create one original harder styles electronic track from start to finish, covering writing, arrangement, mixing, and mastering. ABLETON MASTERY & RHYTHM DESIGN Develop confidence in Ableton Live, learning essential tools and workflows. Build powerful drum patterns with drive, groove, and intensity suited to harder club music. SOUND DESIGN, BASS & TEXTURE Learn synthesis and sampling techniques to create strong basslines, leads, and textures. Shape sounds that cut through a mix while maintaining weight and energy. ARRANGEMENT, AUTOMATION & ENERGY FLOW Structure a full track with tension and release, using automation and movement to keep energy evolving across the arrangement. PROFESSIONAL MIXDOWN & CONTROL Learn how to balance aggressive sounds using EQ, compression, gain staging, and sidechain techniques to achieve clarity, punch, and consistency. FINAL POLISH & CLUB-READY EXPORT Apply finishing touches, referencing, and basic mastering techniques. Prepare and export a final version suitable for club systems and digital release.
